Sophisticated yet welcoming, the Traditional Home is built around time-honored furniture designs and colors.

In the Hartford House Traditional Home, we display the Highboy, the Cannonball Elite Bed and the Dresser 6 Drawer as part of the bedroom setting. The Computer Armoire is an excellent centerpiece for the traditional office. We show this piece with a Maple New England Windsor Desk Chair. For the dining room, we display the Banquet Table along with The Nick Large Hutch.

As in all Hartford House settings, Jetton upholstery is essential to the look. For the Traditional Home, we use two styles of Jetton Wing Chairs as accent seating. We also like the larger style Jetton Sofas and Chairs and the Storage Ottoman for the traditional look.

A darker finish works best in Traditional Home. We’ve chosen English Cherry as our stain on most pieces. Most customers who like a traditional look opt for brass knobs and pulls, although we also use solid wood hardware for many pieces. Upholstery colors tend to be darker and richer for the Traditional Home.
